“USA Swimming today announced the six swimmers and two staff members who will represent Team USA at the second summer edition of the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China. All team nominations are subject to approval by the United States Olympic Committee, which will announce the full roster later this month. The swimming portion of the Games is scheduled for Aug. 17-22 at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center. The three women nominated to represent Team USA in Nanjing include Hannah Moore (Cary, N.C.), Courtney Mykkanen (Tustin, Calif.) and Clara Smiddy (Miami, Fla.). On the men’s side, Patrick Conaton (Larchmont, N.Y.), Patrick Mulcare (Tigard, Ore.) and Justin Wright (Fresno, Calif.) have been nominated to the Youth Olympic Team.”
