Swimming World Magazine Reports:

QUEBEC, Canada, June 29. BADGER’s Lindsay Vrooman, and York Y’s Meghan Small and Courtney Harnish had some special weekends at the Quebec Canada Cup.

Vrooman won a total of seven medals, with four golds, two silvers and a bronze. She captured victory in the 200-meter free (2:00.17) 400-meter free (4:12.38), 800-meter free (8:37.45) and the 1500-meter free (16:30.74). She also placed third in the 200-meter fly with a 2:17.74.

Badger also placed second in the women’s 800-meter free relay with an 8:23.78 by way of a 2:01.90 anchor from Vrooman. She also anchored the women’s 400-meter free relay to a 3:55.15 with a 57.03 for second as well. That’s a pretty solid meet for the 22-year-old Hoosier.
